The hotel is on the National Historical Landmarks Registry and this fact is reflected in its decor. When you visit the website, please read the history and view the pictures.

The hotel is blocks away from one of the best aquariums on the east coast. It is also blocks away form numerous museums, restaurants, and many other attractions. We are very excited about this location. There is a popular local diner across the street that is open around the clock, should the late night hunger com knocking.

For the first time, you will have the opportunity to arrive a day prior (April 12, 2007) to the National Convention to take in the many local attractions. The rate will be the same as our Convention rate of $99.00+ tax. We have not blocked any rooms for Thursday. Therefore, the rooms will be on an "as available" basis.

We are planning a "meet and greet" from 5:00pm to 6:00pm for the attendee's who arrive on Thursday. This will be an optional "come as you are" gathering. So, if you are out on the town, don't cut your event short. But, if you are available, we hope you will attend.

As for reservations for the National Convention starting on Friday, April 13,2007, these reservations MUST be made by March 13, 2007, in order to guarantee a room at our Convention rate.

To encourage Chapters and individuals to register in advance, we are going to have an Early Bird Registration Date. The date will be Valentine's Day, February 14, 2007, a date we all better remember for reasons other than Gamma Beta Phi. Everyone who is registered by Valentine's Day will receive a Gamma Beta Phi coffee cup.

Also, your chapter will be entered in an Early Bird drawing to be held at the opening ceremony. The winning tickets chapter will have two nights accommodations paid on behalf of the person drawn.

There is a Riverboat Dinner Cruise and a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre that require prior reservations. Both of these activities are highly recommended and within walking distance of the Hotel.
