Duties included:  teaching in the areas of counseling psychology, higher education administration, educational psychology, computer applications for administration and instruction, psychological and vocational assessment (tests and measurements), research methods in education.  Additional duties included: serving as advisor for Bachelor's, M.A. and Ph.D. students, supervision of graduate students engaged in research, supervision of fieldwork students, directing departmental research activities, and Coordinator of the EPDA Minority Fellowship Program and Higher Education Administration Master's Program.

Duties included: teaching in the areas of educational psychology and  research methods in education. Additional duties: supervision of a faculty and professional staff of 10, curriculum development for the Education Department, preparation of the State Accreditation Self-study Report, departmental budget supervision, maintenance and control of property inventory, directing departmental research efforts and staff development programs, coordinating teacher preparation  efforts with local and state authorities, and advising undergraduate and 5th Year Certificate teacher education students. I was on a one-year leave-of-absence from the University of Connecticut during this time.

Research Associate, Human Resources Research Institute
Duties included: design and implementation of experimental and evaluation research primarily involving federal government programs including employment training programs, Cultural Exposure Tour, Upward Bound, Community Action Programs, and Early Childhood Education (Head Start and Follow-Through). Duties also involved the supervision of a field and office staff of approximately 25 persons in data collection, data processing, data analysis and report writing.
1968-1969 WEST VIRGINIA INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL FOR BOYS, Grafton, West Virginia
Counseling Psychologist
Duties included individual and group counseling, psycho-diagnostics, referral and staff consultation for a population of 200 boys ranging in age from 10 to 18, committed for offenses ranging from truancy to murder.
